Indian Summers Thoughts
Poor Sumitra; sometimes it’s as if Charlie is a NPC in a
video game, ready to drag her into a side quest. There he is, singing nursery
rhymes with his son, or playing the banjolele without a care in the world and
she’s trying to go about her business and BAM, the moment she gets too close he
stops and turns on her.
I mean, “what’s my wife up to?”
(He’s right to be suspicious but poor Sumitra.)
